Romero Week 2022

The Archbishop Romero Trust is delighted to have Edgardo Colón-Emeric as the guest speaker for events to mark the 42nd anniversary of the martyrdom of St Oscar Romero. 

He is the Dean of the Divinity School at Duke University, in North Carolina, a Methodist pastor, and author of the highly acclaimed volume – ‘Oscar Romero’s Theological Vision: Liberation and Transfiguration of the Poor’.

St Oscar Romero Parish, Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, LIVERPOOL L21 4LJ. St Oscar Romero Feast Day Mass (Eve).
Archbishop Malcolm McMahon OP will preside and bless the parish's newly created Romero Cross.
The parish is holding a week of prayer leading up to their patronal feast day. Information about the Masses, services and events can be found HERE. Many will be live-streamed on the parish Facebook page.
